About Abbi!

Abbi Stephenson is a Salvadoran-American actor from Dallas, Texas.

Growing up with an entire family obsessed with sports and athletics, Abbi fell far from the that tree and always had a song in her heart. Learning show-tunes to sing with her brother in the car, taking up piano at age 6, and attending musicals with her grandparents, her love for the performing arts ran deep. After years of listening to the Broadway station on Pandora Radio, she finally got to participate in community theatre productions, fueling the fire further. In addition, Abbi found her strong suit in many facets of musicality, joining choir and band, picking up the bassoon and tenor saxophone, and learning to play many other things in her “cool instrument collection”. Equipped with an ear for artistry, she began dabbling in composing and arranging her own pieces. She attended J.J. Pearce High School where she was heavily involved in the theatre program.

Deciding to pursue her true passion, Abbi attended Oklahoma City University where she earned her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Theatre. During her time there, she had incredible opportunities to work with many people who helped provide new and beautiful perspectives to this art form and to unlock parts of herself and talent that she never knew possible. From a mute teenage boy, to an abuela, to a demon queen, Abbi is known for her versatility, creativeness, and originality.

When not on stage, Abbi finds joy in indulging her nerd heart playing video games, Dungeons & Dragons, watching movies for her Letterboxd, and dressing up as a pirate for renaissance festivals! She is also an avid enjoyer of jazz.
